About the artist: Parsa Sleighter is best described as the product of a Lindsay Lohan (2007 era) and Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys (Pet Sounds era) sex tape filmed by Miley Cyrus, in what we can only assume to be a motel located three hours into the California desert. His pieces consist of psychedelic vocals supported by eclectic guitar melodies. They are reminiscent of the artistry of the 1960’s while remaining experimental with the sounds of the future. The complexity in each of his pieces is found in the poetic nature of his lyrics. Inspired by the likes of Allen Ginsberg and Lana Del Rey, the lyrics of these songs are very much nuanced, and often express the theme of a greater hope to be found in a world of despair.
